How To Get Rid Of Love Handles
Love handles affect both men and women, often in a negative connotation. In a world that is dominated by celebrities and models with perfect flat stomachs, people are often discouraged by the shape of their bodies. We’re here to tell you that there are ways of eliminating your love handles over time, if, again, you stay dedicated and creative with your workout routines.

The biggest misconception about love handles is that you can easily rid yourself of them by doing spot reduction that is, doing exercises solely focused on trimming your “oblique’s”, the anatomically correct term for love handles.Check out our Exercising Myths section for more information.

There are also many products out there that claim they can tame weight off your sides, but in actuality there are only a few simple steps and routines that you must follow in order to trim those obliques.

The only way to truly rid yourself of those love handles and get that fit, hour glassy tone to your body, is by doing a combination of several things including but not limited to: cardiovascular exercises, weight training and cutting down on the amount of calories that you intake during your daily meals. Be conscious of your diet. Drink more water on a daily basis, cut down on needless sweets and sugars and devour tons of vegetables and fruits.

Weight training is fairly straightforward. Use isotonic and plyometric exercises in your strengthening routines and those love handles will start to fade. Fat will disappear and muscle will be retained.

Last but certainly not least, step up your cardiovascular exercises and stretching. Love handles consist of stored up fat, and intensifying these routines and increasing your metabolism to a healthy rate will certainly reward you with more chiseled obliques. Exercises should include but not be limited to routines with crunches, walking, jogging, biking, swimming, push-ups, pull-ups, and elliptical exercise equipment.

Remember, just like getting a flat stomach, reducing those love handles takes a whole lot of dedication, hard work and an imaginative workout routine.
